SUGAR - BROCKHAMPTON
This was a big holy shit moment for me. I've been a longtime fan of BROCKHAMPTON, and when the call came in to create a character for their new music video, I could barely contain my excitement. With frontman Kevin Abstract directing, we explored some character designs to try and match his vision: a bummed out, lonely as hell sun. After Kevin approved the design we got started fleshing out the lil homie.
Out of all the moments in the video, the sun seemed to connect the most with fans. We've seen tattoos, official band merch, and advertising featuring the sun, and it's even the animated loop that plays with the track on Spotify! As of March 2020, it looks like there's a plush in the works too!
